Pursuing our dreams, not theirs.

Ideas on balancing entrepreneurial drive with wellness, bringing to life new ideas while living well ourselves and making space for what matters in a well balanced life.

How’s everything, good?
That question’s a pet peeve of mine. I sense there’s good intention behind it usually. Still, the question bothers me!
It’s all good.
That’s another one…
The topic of today’s update came to me this morning. It came to me as an internal question and rant, of sorts. There was more cursing it in then. My consciousness feels like it’s mellowed as the day progressed :)
What happens when things aren’t good?
Things aren’t good all the time. At least in my existence they’re not. At any one moment in my existence, some things are good, others aren’t. Some things are neither good or bad.
(The buddhist teachings I’m studying are helping me understand that viewing things as good and bad is a cause of suffering. That’s a different discussion about duality for a later time though.)
I’m also learning it’s OK for things to be good. Rediscovering how to experience joy is a big part of Just Rolling with It. There seems to be a heavy focus on the bad in our world.
Mass media thrives on it, for example. Take a look at the news headlines on any given day. You’ll see what I mean.
So Just Rolling with It’s teaching me it’s OK for things to be good, bad or neither good or bad. I’m learning that allowing myself to experience it all makes for a more fulfilling life. This feels refreshing, after numbing myself to most of life for a very long time.
So, how’s everything with you, good, bad, neither or a mix of it all, that changes each moment of your existence?
